Living with Anxiety

Anxiety affects us in different ways, if you were to look in the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders” there are 12 categories of anxiety disorder. Anxiety affects both our body and mind. We can feel that we are “broken” and that there is no way out.

There IS a way out

The greatest reward of my job is to see people who have been crippled with anxiety release their tension and find relaxation and focus.

A lady who came to me for therapy made this very pertinent remark “Before I met you Jim, I was in a viscous circle, because all I could think about was my fear, and how I felt. It is so strange that now when this crosses my mind, I smile!”
